12x12 exhibition @ no vacancy

after a successful sydney showing, 12x12 is now off to melbourne! the exhibition opens this friday 18 july from 6pm at no vacancy, 27-33 red cape lane, melbourne. the show will be up for a week until friday 25 july, and will also feature a wall mural by junior (pictured), ghostpatrol, miso and jae copp. hope to see you there!

midnight morning - book launch

'midnight morning' is a limited publication of 15 hand-bound mini posters combining the distinctive work of haline ly, matt huynh and will loeng in a new illustration series celebrating shared experiences of love and devastation. to commemorate the release of the book, 'midnight morning' will be launched with an exhibition at rococo productions warehouse space. for one night only artwork from the book will be displayed and available for sale alongside a selection of other artwork, books and prints from the artists. the book launch and exhibition is on this thursday 17 july 6-9pm at 12 o'connell st, newtown. more info here.

gorker gallery is proud to present 'the fine line' - a collection of works by emerging australian artist nate holmes trapnell (the southpaw). in a stylistic body of large scale detailed renderings created solely from fine-liners, nate showcases his unique cross-polinated style of illustration encompassing hot rod, graffiti and comic book influences. opening night is this thursday 3 july 6-9pm and the show runs until 23 july. gorker gallery is located at the corner of gore and kerr st, fitzroy.
